The price index of industrial producers decreased during the first eight months of 2020 by 7.6%, reaching 110.63 points in comparison to 120.20 for the same period last year, reported the Department of Statistics on Sunday.

According to the monthly report from the Department of Statistics, the Industrial Producer Price Index decreased for the month of August by 5.85% in 2020, reaching 109.78 compared to 120.10 in August 2019.

The Industrial Producer Price Index for August 2020 increased by 0.98%, to reach 109.78 points, compared to 108.72 points in the previous month, added the report.
