The Ministry of Health released a statement calling on service providers, in the public and private sector, to make sure all clients have downloaded the Aman mobile application on their smartphones without checking the alerts or dates of exposure.

The announcement came after the ministry found that many users resorted to deleting and re-downloading the application to get rid of alerts, meeting points and dates of exposure.

Deleting the application compromises the effectiveness of the application in alerting contacts, as it also deletes all the data that has only been saved on the device.
