10 deaths, 503 new COVID-19 cases in Palestine

Palestine has recorded 503 new COVID-19 cases and 10 deaths over the past 24 hours, announced the Palestinian Health Minister, Mai al-Kaila, on Monday.

The deaths involved two in Nablus, two in Jenin, one in Bethlehem, three in Jerusalem, one in Ramallah and al-Bireh and one in Qalqilya.

The recovery rate stands at 79.3%, while the active cases rate is 20%, and the death rate is 0.7%.

The new coronavirus cases included: 68 in Hebron, 67 in Nablus, 50 in Bethlehem, 12 in Qalqilya, 43 in Ramallah and Bireh, 19 in Jenin, eight in Salfit, 29 in Jericho and Aghwar, 66 in Tulkaram, one in Tubas, 35 in Gaza Strip, 20 in the suburbs of Jerusalem and 85 in Jerusalem city.

A total of 1,665 recovery cases were recorded in Palestine: 164 in Hebron, 30 in Jenin, 34 in Qalqilya, 59 in Tulkarem, 15 in Salfit, 89 in Nablus, 275 in Ramallah and Bireh, 213 in Bethlehem, 513 in Jerusalem city, 145 in Gaza Strip and 128 in Jericho and Aghwar.

Currently, 44 cases are in the Intensive Care Unit and 14 are on ventilators.
