A total of 239 new COVID-19 cases have been recorded in Jordan on Sunday, 231 of which are local cases, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 4,779.

The cases are:

• 149 cases in Amman

• 23 cases in Zarqa

• 13 cases in Balqaa

• Five cases in Irbid

• 22 cases in Karak

• Six in Mafraq

• 12 in Maan

• One in Ajloun

• Eight people who travelled from abroad.

A total of 172 recovery cases have been confirmed in Jordan on Sunday.

A total of 13,437 PCR tests have been conducted, bringing the total number of tests since the beginning coronavirus crisis to 1,070,621 .
