A further COVID-19 death was recorded in Jordan on Sunday, involving a man in his fifties who died at Prince Hamza Hospital, a source told Roya.

The man did not have any pre-existing health issues but due to COVID-19 he got severe pneumonia and had to go through dialysis treatment, a source told Roya.

The number of COVID-19 deaths in Jordan now totals 24.
