The number of COVID-19 cases worldwide reached 77,817,977, including 54,707,695 recoveries and 1,711,508 deaths, according to Worldometers Tuesday.

The US has topped the list of countries worst affected by the pandemic, confirming more than 326,000 deaths and 18,473,716 total cases.

India is in second place with 146,145 deaths and 10,075,422 total cases, while Brazil has ranked third with 187,322 deaths and 7,264,221 cases.

Russia ranks fourth with 51,912 deaths and 2,906,503 infections, followed by France with 60,900 deaths and 2,479,151 cases.

Coronavirus cases were recorded in more than 210 countries since December 2019.
