A 72-year-old woman has died from COVID-19 at Prince Hamza Hospital, announced the hospital's director, Abdul Razzaq al-Khushman, on Saturday.

The woman was suffering from chronic diseases such as blood pressure, diabetes and breast cancer in addition to COVID-19, al-Khushman added.

The number of COVID-19 deaths in Jordan now totals 22.
