Thousands of Palestinians crossed from lands occupied in 1967 to 1948 territories, after the Israeli occupation have created openings in the wall.

The reason for this rare and short permission is still unclear, but some see it as political, psychological and economic messages delivered to the Palestinian administration which stopped security coordenation with the Israeli occupation at the end of May.
