A Facebook poll launched by Roya on whether the Tawjihi results “were illogical,” resulted in 83% stating that it was. 78 students in Jordan achieved 100 out of 100 in their Tawjihi exam results that were announced on Saturday.

More than 130,000 people participated in the poll.

“First of all, congratulations to all Tawjihi students who achieved 100 out of 100 in their exam results, but this looks more like a fantasy,” one person commented on the poll.

He added, “This person is not Naguib Mahfouz, Charles Dickens, Leonhard Euler, Michael Faraday, Dmitri Mendeleev, Al-Maqrizi and Gregor Mendel all combined together, but what happened? The questions were very easy and did not take into consideration the difference between every student.”

“All that was needed was to allocate 5% or 10% of the marks to creative questions,” he added.

Another comment was “it is not logical that so many students got a full mark, Tawjihi is not the same anymore, and the Ministry is trying to convince us that Distance Education is a success.”

However, someone commented that “the results are logical, because it was all about multiple choice questions.”
