The Director of the Social Security Corporation (SSC), Hazem Rahahleh, released this afternoon the "Protection", "Economic Empowerment 1" and "Economic Empowerment 2" programs to support the workers in the sectors affected by the corona crises.

In a press conference at the Prime Ministry building, Rahahleh said that the "Economic Empowerment 1" includes partial insurance for old ages with subscriptions standing at 15.50% instead of 21.75%. This benefit will last until the end of the year.

Rahahleh also announced that there will be temporary salaries for the registered workers whom their salaries start with JD220 till JD400 for about 50% of the salary number.

In addition, nearly 260,000 people benefited from the SSC program during the crisis.
