Female worker at Balqa Applied University tests positive for coronavirus

A female worker at Al-Balqa Applied University has tested positive for coronavirus today, the Director of Balqa Health Affairs, Dr. Wael Al-Azab, announced.

The area where the infected lives in the southern Twal region in Deir Alla district in Balqa has been isolated. 

He added that the epidemiological inspection teams have taken samples from people who were in contact with the infected person whether in their residential areas in Deir Alla or workplaces in Salt, as the total samples reached 200 and their results will appear later.

Now, there are three coronavirus cases in the ICU and all of them are over 60 years old, he noted.
