For the first time in nearly three months, Jordan's churches have reopened today, in light of tight measures due to the coronavirus crisis.

The Public Security Directorate (PSD) launched the "Safe Distance" initiative, through which it was keen to ensure that worshippers are committed to social distancing in both mosques and churches.

During the past days, preparations continued to equip mosques and churches, clean and sterilize them to receive worshipers, according to the health requirements announced by the concerned parties.
