The health authorities concerned, together with the security services and the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), isolated a residential building in the Jawa area, south of Amman, where coronavirus cases were earlier recorded.

On Wednesday, the Minister of Health, Saad Jaber, announced that seven members of one family tested positive for coronavirus in a suburb of Amman after having direct contact with an infected truck driver.
