The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health has announced today that a 54- year-old Jordanian woman died today of coronavirus in Kuwait.

Kuwait has registered 364 new positive coronavirus cases during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number to 4,983, according to the Kuwaiti News Agency (KUNA).

Virus-related deaths rose by five to 38 in total, the Kuwaiti Health ministry's spokesman said in the daily press briefing on the pandemic.

The fatalities include a resident from Pakistan, 61, who had been receiving urgent treatment for 18 days at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), an Indian, 63, who had been under intensive care for 10 days, one person from Bangladesh, 46, who had been at the ICU for 18 days, the Jordanian woman, 54, who had been at the ICU for two days and an Indianian person, 43, who was admitted into the ICU 12 days ago.
