The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health has announced today that a Jordanian citizen died of coronavirus in Kuwait.

According to the Kuwaiti News Agency (KUNA), the citizen is 71-year-old and has been in intensive care for three days.

The Ministry also announced that a Jordanian citizen tested positive for the virus after having direct contact with an infected person.

In the past 24 hours, 242 new infections were confirmed in Kuwait, bringing the caseload to 4,619, including 101 recovered cases, which raised the number of those who recovered to 1,703.
