Four new coronavirus cases were confirmed today, bringing the total number of cases to 441, including people who recovered, the Minister of Health, Saad Jaber, has announced.

The Minister said that the infected are two truck drivers who came from a neighboring country, one of who is Jordanian, while the other is of an Arab nationality. In addition, an infected man's daughter, aged three years and a half, and his mother-in-law have contracted the virus after having direct contact with him. 

"Eight recovery cases were reported today, of which five were reported at King Abdullah University Hospital and three at Prince Hamzah Hospital," the Minister stated.

"1,500 COVID-19 tests have been conducted today," the Minister said.

"105 patients are still receiving treatment at the Kingdom's hospitals, including 87 at Prince Hamzah Hospital in Amman, 10 at King Abdullah University Hospital in Irbid and eight at the King Hussein Medical Center," Jaber added.
