Jordan's Grand Mufti: Ramadan to begin tomorrow

Jordan’s Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul Karim Khasawneh announced on Thursday, April 23, that the crescent moon, or hilal, was sighted, meaning the holy month of Ramadan will begin tomorrow, April 24, 2020, joining Egypt, Lebanon and Iraq, Egypt and Saudi Arabia. 

On this occasion, the Grand Mufti extended the highest congratulations to His Majesty King Abdullah II, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein Bin Abdullah II, the Hashemite family, the Jordanian family, and the Arab and Islamic nations.
