Qatar reports biggest daily increase in COVID-19 cases

A total of 567 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Qatar on Monday, April 20, the biggest daily increase to date, bringing the total number of infections to 6,015, according to the Gulf News. 

Qatar also announced one more death from the virus on Monday, taking the death toll in the country to 9, according to the Ministry of Public Health.

However, 518 new confirmed cases of coronavirus and 59 recovered cases have been confirmed today, bringing the total number of recovered cases in the country to 614, the Ministry announced.
