Roya TV issues statement

RoyaTV, represented by its General Manager Fares Sayegh and all its employees, apologizes for publishing any video clips or interviews that are not in harmony with the measures taken by the Jordanian state, with all of its cadres, to fight the spread of the coronavirus.

Roya TV pledges to support all exerted efforts and stand by all government, army and security apparatus measures to pass through these sensitive circumstances with its assurance not to publish any materials that cause chaos, breach of public order or incitement to break the defense orders.

Roya TV, therefore, confirms that it has been, and remains, in support of the Jordanian state’s efforts in all crises, since it is part of the media body of the Jordanian state which works with professionalism and national responsibility,and in turn stresses that it respects the principle of rule of law and the independence and integrity of the just Jordanian Judiciary.

The Roya TV Board of Directors, led by Mr. Michael Sayegh, confirms its trust in the efforts of the Jordanian state to protect the homeland and citizens, since the start of the coronavirus pandemic crisis, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdulla II.
