Active coronavirus cases in Jordan rise to 204, as 14 new cases confirmed today

The total number of coronavirus cases in Jordan has reached 372, as 14 new cases were confirmed today, the Minister of Health, Saad Jaber, has announced.

The new cases two who had direct contact with their infected father, three people from one family who had contacted their infected father, two people who work at the same place and it's still unknown how they contracted the virus, one who contacted her daughter, one person who returned from Dubai and was quarantined at the Royal Medical Services and four people from one family, one of whom is Ugandan, the Minister said during a press briefing at the National Center for Security and Crisis Management.

He also announced that a 69-year-old man has died today at Prince Hamzah Hospital, bringing the total number of deaths to seven.

"11 recovery cases were reported today," Jaber confirmed.
