Banks, exchange firms will not open before Monday

The Minister of Labor, head of the Ministerial Team for Business Continuity, Nidal Bataineh has said today that an agreement was reached with the Central Bank of Jordan that banks and currency exchange companies would not open their doors to citizens on Saturday or Sunday.

No facility or service would be opened without a prior plan and security approval from the ministerial team, so that the plan guarantees the safety of the citizen and dodges overcrowding under the current circumstances, he pointed out.
