The Ministry of Local Administration has directed the municipalities to contact citizens, who have pets (pigeons, birds, cats, dogs) to keep them inside their homes or put them in the designated places.

This step comes as a precautionary measure to prevent transmitting infection and disease to citizens.

The Ministry has also affirmed this procedure is carried out under legal liability.
