The Director of Aqaba Health Department, Dr. Ibrahim Ma'ayah confirmed that no coronavirus cases were recorded in Aqaba.

He mentioned that a 64-year-old Spanish tourist arrived from Australia in the city.

"She underwent medical examinations and it was found that she has anemia," Ma'ayeh said, confirming that she doesn't have corona.

He called on citizens not to follow or circulate rumors, confirming that all medical authorities in the city work round the clock in all the Aqaba border crossings and ports with a high level of professionalism and medical craftsmanship.
