Around 19 people sustained various injuries on Sunday when a dump truck and a passenger bus collided in Al-Sultani area of Karak governorate, south of Jordan.

The area's rescue and ambulance teams provided first aid necessary for the injured, the media spokesman for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said.

The spokesman noted the ambulance crews took the injured to Prince Ali Military Hospital and Karak Government Hospital, as two injuries were listed as critical and the rest as moderate.
