An Iranian national was quarantined today at the Epidemic Diseases Department (Isolation Department) of Al Bashir Hospital to ensure that she doesn't have coronavirus.

The Assistant Secretary-General of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Adnan Ishaq explained that the Iranian national arrived in Jordan from Iran last night.

Ishaq confirmed that since the Iranian national is a daughter of a Jordanian woman, she was allowed to enter the Kingdom. However, she was immediately taken to the Isolation Department as a precautionary measure.
