Israeli forces kill Palestinian young man, injure seven others in Jenin

A Palestinian young man was killed by Israeli army gunfire early this morning while seven others were injured during clashes in the occupied northern West Bank city of Jenin.

Soldiers broke into Jenin to demolish the family home of Palestinian detainee Ahmad Qunba when intense clashes broke out between the soldiers and Palestinians.

During the clashes, Israeli soldiers opened fire at protesters killing Yazan Abu Tabikh, 19, and injuring seven others, one of whom sustained serious injuries.

This is the second time the Israeli army demolishes the Qunba house. The first time was after the arrest, according to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA).

People called for a strike in Jenin today to protest the killing of Abu Tabikh and the demolition of the house.
