The Israeli security bodies have raised its state of alert to the highest level, and reinforced its army forces in the West Bank and on the Borders of the Gaza Strip, the Hebrew daily newspaper "Maariv" reported on Thursday, January 

It said security procedures are taken in anticipation for demonstrations and confrontations, tomorrow after Friday prayers, in protest against the announcement of the U.S. peace deal.

"A security session was held yesterday, where it was decided to reinforce the Israeli army in the West Bank and the Gaza border, in preparation for the Palestinian reaction to the peace deal," the newspaper added, noting that no harsh measures will be taken against the Palestinians at this stage.
