The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) started operating traffic lights at the 6th circle area in Amman this morning.

Earlier on Friday, December 6, GAM cadres installed pilot traffic lights in the area to test their efficiency.

According to a statement issued earlier by GAM, replacing the roundabout with traffic lights aims at decreasing traffic congestion in the area.
