Around 14 students of a private school in Zarqa were referred on Monday, September 16, 2019, to a private hospital after they all suffered from food poisoning, according to Roya's correspondent.

A source exclusively told Roya that the students, who are all in seventh grade, ordered shawarma from a restaurant in the area.

The source added that all of them suffered from colic and diarrhea, where they all underwent medical tests.

In addition, samples were taken from the restaurant to determine the cause of the poisoning, while it will be closed down and its owner will be referred to the administrative governor.

The source noted that the students are all in good health condition.
