The Regional Network for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) nominated chairman and founder of the international Jordan-based organization, the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization, Dr.Talal Abu-Ghazaleh as one of the hundred most prominent and influential Arab personalities in the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

The nomination of Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh is attributed to his active and effective contribution to social responsibility through Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Foundation (TAG-Foundation), wholly funded by Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), offering 34 sustainable programs in community service.

Abu-Ghazaleh always affirms that social responsibility is one of the basic tools of economic balance in society, pointing that the concept of social responsibility was the main reason for launching the UN Global Compact in 2000 of which Abu-Ghazaleh was Vice Chair with Their Excellency’s Kofi Anan and Ban Ki-moon, subsequently.

The list of the Top 100 Most Influential Arabs will be announced in a ceremony that will be held in Bahrain on September 5, 2019, in conjunction with preparations for the World Corporate Social Responsibility Day celebrated on September 25 every year.

Abu-Ghazaleh was previously named the International Ambassador for Social Responsibility by the Regional Network for Corporate Social Responsibility and in that capacity, he received an award in 2014 in recognition of his role and efforts in introducing and supporting social responsivity initiatives.
