The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) announced on Saturday, August 10, 2019, that it had installed free WiFi on buses operating through "Amman Bus" project.

GAM said, "We want you all to know that as promised, the free WiFi is now available on buses operating through Amman bus."

"You can now connect to the WiFi by entering your name and your phone number. A message with a verification code will be then sent to your mobile phone and you will be able to use the free Wifi."
