A man from a Gulf country, who was visiting the Kingdom, expressed his solidarity with the Jordanian people in light of the difficult economic situation, as he posted a tweet on his personal account on Twitter, calling on God to help the Jordanian people due to the high prices and poverty.
The man, who appeared to be a Saudi national as mentioned in his account on Twitter, said "May God help the Jordanian people, they struggle in their living."
He further said, "Amman is one of the most expensive cities in the world."
In his tweet, he attached a photo of the area he was passing by in Amman, Al Dakhliya.
For several years, the Jordanian capital, Amman, has topped the list of the most expensive Arab cities, and in 2019, it ranked the 75th place among the world’s most expensive cities to live in, according to Mercer’s Cost of Living Survey.
