Injuries in Downtown Amman blast due to gas leak rise to three

The number of injuries in the explosion which took place in Downtown Amman this morning has risen to three injuries, the Civil Defense Directorate (CDD) has said in a statement.

The injured has been referred to Prince Hamza Hospital, where his health condition was described as critical.

The statement added that one of the dead is an Egyptian national while the other is a Jordanian citizen.

However, two of the injured are Jordanians, while the third is an Egyptian national, the statement further added.

The Information Department at the CDD the Jordanian search and rescue team had completed the search and there were no other injuries that needed to be referred to hospital.
