The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the brutal terrorist attack that targeted the Abha International Airport in southwest Saudi Arabia for the third time during this period by the Houthi militias, injuring nine civilians on Tuesday, July 2, 2019.

Spokesperson for the Ministry, Sufian Qudah considered that the constant targeting of airports and civilians by the Houthi militias a grave escalation that contravenes all the international laws and norms, emphasizing that Jordan condemns such acts in the strongest terms.

Qudah confirmed Jordan's supportive position to the brothers in Saudi Arabia in whatever measures they deem necessary to preserve security in the country and combat terrorism in all its forms.

He also emphasized Jordan's full solidarity with the Saudi brothers and its trust in their ability to preserve the country's security, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
