Jordan’s Grand Mufti Mohammad Khalaileh announced on Sunday, May 5, 2019, that the crescent moon, or hilal, was sighted, meaning the holy month of Ramadan will begin tomorrow, May 6, 2019, joining Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

On this occasion, the Grand Mufti extended the highest congratulations to His Majesty King Abdullah II, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein Bin Abdullah II, the Hashemite family, the Jordanian family, and the Arab and Islamic nations.
