Spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs, Sufian al-Qudah announced on Sunday, March 17, 2019, the names of the Jordanian citizens, who were martyred during the terrorist attack in New Zealand.

The Jordanian martyrs are:

• Abdulfattah Qasem Ibrahim Qasem
• Ali Mahmoud Abdullah Al Madani
• Atta Mohammed Atta Elayyan
• Kamel "Mohammed Kamal" Kamel Darwish

Qudah confirmed that the announcement of the names came after the Ministry contacted the victims' families and informed them that the names will be published.
