The young Jordanian Salamah Hanna, along with a number of architects, presented an innovative idea to invest in the railway, built by the Ottomans, along the capital Amman.
Hanna suggested constructing gardens along the railway, which will have a positive impact on the people.
He pointed out that the railway, which is a waqf and owned by the Ministry of Awqaf, can be exploited in planting trees and building entertainment places for children.
Hanna also proposed to invest in a safe and environmentally friendly train, which will ease the traffic crisis in Amman.
He pointed out that the project will be affordable because companies or non-profit organizations will invest in it, in addition to the land being a waqf which means that there is no need to purchase it.
