Syrian Prime Minister Imad Khamis called on his ministerial team to enhance state resources efficiency to ensure optimal utilization, in systematic manner, that will achieve maximum benefit without imposing any new taxes on Syrian citizen.

During the meeting of the Council of Ministers in the Syrian capital Damascus, which began to emerge from seven years of military conflict after the outbreak of the crisis in 2011. The Syrian government discussed in depth ways to invest the potential and natural resources in order to economically immunize the Syrian people from the consequences of the war.

Khamis said that his government will work to establish a culture of self-reliance and mobilize the available resources to create jobs and ensure the spread of real developmental components.
