Ride-hailing app drivers given one week to rectify status

Jordanian Ministry of Transportation gave one week notice to ride-hailing app drivers, to complete the terms and conditions and obtaine a license.

Transport Minister, Waleed Al-Masri, in a "very urgent” letter to ride-hailing companies, to suspend any vehicle without a license.

Al Masri stressed that, contrary to what has been mentioned, all legal procedures will be taken, which can lead to the cancellation of the company's license and the suspension of the application.
