Important announcement for drivers in Amman, northern governorates

The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Department announced the expansion of its services through the launch of a mobile licensing station on the Amman-Irbid road, next to Philadelphia University.

According to a statement from the Public Security Directorate, the new station will offer licensing and technical inspection services daily from 3 PM to 8 PM, excluding Fridays and Saturdays, starting Tuesday, July 16, 2024.

This initiative is coordinated with the General Union of Insurance Companies and Philadelphia University. It marks the second mobile station providing licensing services outside of regular hours, following the first station in the capital.

The new location was chosen after comprehensive studies to serve users of the vital road linking the capital with northern governorates, as well as residents in the nearby areas of Jerash and Balqa and parts of northern Amman.

The mobile station offers most licensing services, including drive-through licensing, technical inspection, renewal of vehicle and driving licenses, mortgage and mortgage release, ownership transfer, and issuance of license plates.
