A Jordanian citizen filed a complaint against the Consulate of Jordan in Istanbul, Turkey.

"In Turkey, the staff at the Jordanian Consulate does not speak Arabic nor English, and the Jordanian Embassy does not answer its phones," posted Mohammed Omar Hammad through his Facebook account.

He added that he visited the Jordanian Consulate in order to issue a birth certificate document for his daughter, which he couldn’t complete due to the lack of official stamps which, according to him, are only available at the Embassy in Ankara.

Hammad went on saying that later the problem was solved; “I was contacted by the Jordanian Embassy… I want to thank the Embassy for its transparency and for allowing us to communicate directly… Thanks to Jumana Ghuneimat [Jordanian Minister of State for Media Affairs] for her concern."
