The embassy of Belgium in Amman has presented a number of Jordanian citizens with Medals of Honour, courtesy of King Philippe of Belgium, in recognition of their tireless efforts to develop business, trade and economic relations between Jordan and Belgium.

This marks the first time Belgium has taken such a step.

During the ceremony on Tuesday, H. E. Mr. Hendrik VAN DE VELDE, the Belgian Ambassador to Jordan, noted that there are great opportunities for business development, investment and export between the two countries.

He added that this is evident through the promising joint efforts between Bruxelles Invest & Export, the Wallonia Foreign Trade and Investment Agency (AWEX), the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce and the Arab-Belgium-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (ABLCC-CCBLA).
