Egypt announced it will postpone the opening of Rafah border crossing with Gaza Strip following the deadly attack in Sinai which left six Egyptian soldiers dead, according to Wafa News Agency.

Egyptian security and hospital officials announced that at least six soldiers were killed and 24 attackers were killed in a series of assaults on security points in northern Sinai.

Egypt earlier said it will open the border crossing starting from Monday for four days to allow movement in and out for humanitarian cases in the Strip.

The Rafah border is the only crossing border for Gaza to the world in addition to its crossing to the north with Israel, and it is shut down most of the year and opens for few days during the year.
