The Secretary-General of the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), Hussein Al-Shibli, announced on Thursday the entry of the Jordanian land aid convoy into the Gaza Strip via the Kerem Shalom crossing.

This convoy, organized by JHCO in collaboration with the Jordanian Armed Forces, comprises 24 trucks loaded with a total of 427 tons of aid intended for the people in Gaza.

Al-Shibli highlighted that the convoy includes flour and food parcels generously donated by organizations such as Human Appeal, the Charity Supply Association - South Africa, Tkiyet Um Ali, and the World Food Program (WFP).

He stressed the organization's commitment to coordinating with the United Nations World Food Program in Gaza to ensure the efficient distribution of aid to those in need in the strip.

Moreover, Al-Shibli underscored that this convoy is part of Jordan's ongoing efforts to provide support to the people in Gaza. This initiative coincides with the departure of a plane from Jordan to El Arish Airport, carrying additional aid to be transferred to Gaza through the Rafah crossing.

Al-Shibli reaffirmed JHCO's dedication to receiving donations and facilitating the entry of aid, both by land and air, to stand in solidarity with the people of Gaza.

The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization accepts cash donations through its bank account at Union Bank with the IBAN number: JO32 UBSI 1030 0000 4010 1659 9151 06, or through electronic wallets, Click JHCOGAZA, in addition to E-fawateercom and through its website www.jhco.org.jo.
