Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi and Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah held talks on Saturday and underlined the strong and exemplary relations between the two countries.

Safadi said that "any abuse against Kuwait is an abuse against Jordan", and told his Kuwaiti counterpart that the Kingdom had taken legal measures against "the abusive few" during the football match between the two countries on Friday. He said Jordan as leadership, government and people condemned such acts.
