  • Iran's Foreign Ministry says the US midterm results send a clear message to Washington.
  • Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei warns that further attacks on Iran would lead to defeat rather than victory.

Iran's Foreign Ministry has warned the United States against launching further attacks on Iran, arguing that military aggression would result in defeat rather than victory.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei linked his warning to the outcome of the US midterm elections, saying American voters had sent a clear message to their country's leadership.

“The United States has been dragged into an illegal and horrific war against our country out of greed and in service of a deceitful entity,” Baghaei wrote in a post on X.

Baghaei attributed Washington's involvement in the conflict to what he described as “failed calculations” and “strategic mistakes.”

“The American people have sent a clear message to American officials; if the US administration continues to ignore reality and insists on proceeding with its dangerous approach, the repercussions of its miscalculations will exceed anything it has witnessed so far,” he said.

He also rejected the prospect of Iran being pressured into surrender through military threats or force.

“Iran is not a country that can be understood through arrogance, intimidated by threats, or forced to surrender through aggression,” Baghaei added.

His remarks come amid heightened tensions between Washington and Tehran, with Iranian officials repeatedly warning against further military escalation.
