The Queen Rania Teacher Academy (QRTA) has become the first institution to receive the Organisation of Excellence Accreditation from the UK-based CPD Standards Office, marking a significant milestone in its efforts to strengthen institutional performance and enhance the quality of services it provides to teachers, educational leaders, and partners.

The accreditation was granted following a comprehensive assessment under the Organisation of Excellence Standard #41000, covering seven key areas including, organisational context, leadership, planning, support, operations, improvement, and educational performance.

Through this assessment, QRTA demonstrated its commitment to quality management, effective institutional practices, and continuous improvement.

The accreditation provides a structured approach for assessing institutional performance, identifying areas for improvement, and strengthening the systems used to plan, deliver, and evaluate professional development programs.

By building on these practices, QRTA aims to improve operational efficiency, strengthen coordination across its teams, and ensure greater consistency and responsiveness in the services it delivers.

Commenting on the achievement, QRTA CEO, Abdelmajeed Shamlawi, said that “receiving this accreditation is an important step in our aspiration to become a more effective and responsive institution.

It gives us a framework to continuously improve how we plan, operate, and deliver our professional development programs. Ultimately, our goal is to implement strong institutional practices that create better experiences for teachers, educational leaders, and partners.”

Co-Founder of the CPD Standards Office, Ms. Amanda Rosewarne noted that:

“We are delighted to recognise Queen Rania Teacher Academy as the first organisation in Jordan to achieve our Organisation of Excellence Accreditation.

It is an honour to work with QRTA and to support an organisation that demonstrates such a strong commitment to organisational excellence, quality management and continuous improvement for the teaching community.

“At the CPD Standards Office, we believe that excellence in professional development starts with excellence within the organisation itself.

Having robust systems, effective leadership and a culture of continuous improvement creates the foundations for delivering high-quality professional learning and, ultimately, better outcomes for the professionals and communities an organisation serves.

“QRTA has demonstrated a real commitment to these principles, and we hope its achievement will inspire other organisations across Jordan and the wider region to pursue similar standards of institutional excellence.”

Based in the United Kingdom, The CPD Standards Office establishes standards for continuing professional development (CPD) and assesses institutions against recognised criteria, including, quality, professional practices, and institutional performance.

Its Organisation of Excellence Accreditation recognises institutions that meet the requirements of its assessment framework across key management and operations areas.

The accreditation will serve as a reference point for QRTA’s ongoing institutional development, helping align internal practices with the needs of those it serves.

Through this accreditation, QRTA seeks to strengthen its contribution to improving teaching practices and enriching students’ learning experiences.
