British singer Paloma Faith appeared on stage in a keffiyeh dress at London’s OVO Arena Wembley during the closing leg of American rapper Macklemore’s "Free Palestine" benefit tour.
Faith delivered a speech about parenthood and children living in war zones, stating "I stand here today, seven months postpartum from having a baby," Faith told concertgoers from the stage. "And I’m not gonna lie, yes, some people have talked about it. it's scary to be in the public eye and to come out and say and stand up at these things. But it's not as scary as what would happen if we didn't do it."
Reflecting on her career and family responsibilities, Faith said: "Yes, those thoughts crossed my mind; I thought, I've just had a baby, my third child, I've got a family to support, I'm the breadwinner, oh my God, what am I doing? But I just thought, why are my children more important than the children in Gaza? And Palestine? And Sudan? Yemen, Congo. They are not more important."
She continued: "It breaks my heart to think that anyone thinks their children are more important than somebody else’s. Because every child deserves to have their mother hold them in their arms and say it’s going to be safe."
Faith noted that she also wanted to ensure female representation on the lineup, before announcing she had written a song for her upcoming album documenting her experiences attending demonstrations for a free Palestine.
The Wembley concert marked the finale of Macklemore's three-city European tour, which included dates in Dublin and Paris. The benefit shows were arranged after Macklemore was cut from Ed Sheeran's US "The Loop" tour following on-stage pro-Palestinian statements.
The appearance marked another performance where Faith incorporated the symbol into her wardrobe. In September 2025, she performed at the "Together for Palestine" concert at Wembley Arena wearing a custom keffiyeh gown created by designer Ainy.
Faith was also among over 1,000 artists who signed an open letter calling for a cultural boycott of the Eurovision Song Contest over Israel's participation.
Organizers stated that all proceeds from the tour dates are being donated to humanitarian charities providing relief on the ground, including UNRWA USA, Medical Aid for Palestinians, and the Palestine Children's Relief Fund.
