US Media commentator Tucker Carlson broadcasted on Thursday, an unseen surveillance footage documenting an attack in which masked 'Israeli' settlers severely beat an elderly American homeowner with sticks in the occupied West Bank before torching a vehicle on the property.

Speaking on The Tucker Carlson Show, Carlson stated that the assault occurred last week at a residence located in an unnamed West Bank municipality.

The identity of the victim and his family, as well as the exact location of the attack, were withheld to protect them from potential retaliation.

According to Carlson, a family member who filmed the incident had initially agreed to appear on the program to discuss the assault, but abruptly pulled out hours before broadcast.

Carlson explained that the individual feared that public disclosure of their identities would result in the family being killed by settlers in the area.

The surveillance video, partially blurred to obscure the victim's identity, shows three masked individuals striking an elderly man repeatedly with sticks as he lies on the ground in the driveway.

Additional assailants are then seen approaching a parked family vehicle, pouring gasoline across the car, and igniting it.

"The elderly man who you're about to watch being beaten by masked settlers with sticks, that man who was badly injured is an American citizen," Carlson said. He added that the attackers were "acting in their capacity as 'Israeli' citizens with the full impunity from punishment that that implies in the occupied territories."

Carlson noted that the perpetrators beat the homeowner "almost to death" on his own property, characterizing the incident as an unprovoked assault on an American citizen living under occupation.
