  • Ben-Gvir checked whether residents had already cast their ballots, commending those who had and urging immediate turnout before polls close
  • The direct canvassing follows a pattern across political factions rushing to mobilize their bases

'Israel's' National Security Minister and head of the far-right Otzma Yehudit party, Itamar Ben-Gvir, conducted a door-to-door canvassing effort in 'Israeli's houses on Tuesday, making appeals to supporters to cast their ballots before voting precincts close.

Video footage shared on his Twitter shows Ben-Gvir accompanied by security personnel and campaign aides walking through apartment corridors, knocking on doors, and asking 'Israelis' if they have visited their local polling stations yet.

"In Rahat, the turnout percentages are insane," Ben-Gvir told one resident at her doorway, urging that right-wing precincts must match the pace to secure seats for his faction and help form a right-wing governing coalition.

The door-to-door step followed an earlier campaign stop Tuesday afternoon on the outskirts of the central Arab town of Kafr Qasim.

Pointing toward the municipality, he asserted that participation rates in the Arab sector were unprecedented and directly warned his base that failing to vote risked handing influence to Arab lawmakers Mansour Abbas and Ahmad Tibi.

"If you want this country to remain Jewish and Zionist, if you want to keep this state from falling into the hands of Mansour Abbas and Ahmad Tibi, go out and vote," he urged, demanding his supporters mobilize to secure a right-wing government.
